Details
Data Plate is used to record The Stove / flue and fitting engineers details upon installation.
Information about hearths, fireplaces, flues, and chimneys should be permanently posted in a building where these facilities are provided or extended, including during refurbishment. This can be done using a notice plate, which should contain the following information:
- The location of the hearth, fireplace (or flue box), or the start of the flue
- The category of the flue and the types of appliances that can be used safely
- The type and size of the flue (or its liner if it has been relined) and the manufacturer's name
- The installation date
Notice plates should be sturdy, clearly marked, and securely attached in a visible but unobtrusive location within the building, such as next to the electricity consumer unit, the chimney or hearth, or the water supply stopcock. For chimney products that have been assessed according to European Standard (EN) and are marked with a designation as described in paragraph 0.4 (9), the installer may include this designation on the label.
