Chimney Liner Insulation Kit 25 ft (for 6 inch liner)

This pre-cut insulation kit wraps a chimney liner with a 1/2 inch foil-faced blanket, the standard way to add the 1 inch insulation value that the UL 1777 listing requires for solid fuel.

Insulating the liner earns the zero-clearance rating, so nearby framing is no longer a problem, keeps the flue gases hotter for a stronger draft, and cuts creosote build-up.

The kit is sized to match the liner exactly and includes the foil-faced blanket, adhesive spray, retaining mesh and foil tape.

A handy DIYer can fit it before the liner goes down the chimney; a nose cone over the bottom end helps protect the blanket during the pull. Required for wood, pellet and coal; usually not needed for gas or oil in a sound masonry chimney.
