Installing a wood stove in a multi-level home? Our Through the House Chimney Kits are designed for safe, code-compliant installations where the chimney passes through one or more floors or ceilings before exiting the roof. Whether you're running your flue system through an attic or multiple stories, we offer pre-configured kits tailored for your layout.
All our kits use UL103HT-certified Class A double-wall insulated chimney pipe rated up to 2100°F. Each kit includes all the essential components for vertical installations that pass through interior floors, attics, or roof structures – with firestops, attic insulation shields, support boxes, and roof termination parts included.
Not sure whether you need a single-floor or multi-level configuration? Read our install guides or contact our expert team – we’ll help you get it right the first time.
Can I run my chimney through the attic?Yes. Our “Through the Attic” kits are designed for this purpose and include all required parts for safe and code-compliant installation.
What if my chimney passes through more than one floor?Use our “Multi-Story Kit” version, which includes additional firestop components and support parts for each floor penetration.
What pipe diameter do I need? Most wood stoves require 6-inch Class A chimney pipe. Always check your stove’s manual or ask us if you're unsure.
Do I need a professional installer? Our kits are designed for DIY or professional installation. However, always check your local building codes and inspection requirements.
