Chimney Kit External for Garage

Complete Chimney Kit for a Garage through the Roof

This page helps you build a custom garage chimney kit that vents directly from the stove through the ceiling and roof, using Class A UL103HT insulated chimney pipes. The system is designed for safe and code-compliant installation in garages, with all critical components included: ceiling support box, attic insulation shield (if required), roof flashing with storm collar, and a spark-screen chimney cap.

Rather than offering a fixed set, we let you configure the ideal system for your garage installation – adjusting for roof pitch, chimney height, stove type, and support method.

  • ✔ All essential components included – no guesswork
  • ✔ Maximum safety: UL103HT Class A insulated chimney system
  • ✔ Fast delivery: shipped within 1–2 working days
  • ✔ Optimum quality: Limited Lifetime Warranty
  • ✔ Best price: check our Lowest Price Guarantee

Standard Configuration: Straight Up

The configurator on the right is preloaded for a straight vertical Class A chimney system through the garage roof, without offsets. The stove connects to a section of double-wall stovepipe, passes through the ceiling via a ceiling support box, and continues with insulated Class A chimney pipe up through the roof flashing and storm collar to a chimney cap.

Always check local code and manufacturer instructions. Local codes and inspectors (AHJ) may impose restrictions on installing solid-fuel appliances in garages.

FAQ

Can I install this chimney kit in any garage?
Yes. This kit is designed for safe garage installations. As long as you meet the clearance requirements from combustibles and openings, it can be installed in most garages with timber or brick construction; and without an attic.

Is this kit UL103HT listed?
Yes – all components are UL103HT Class A certified and meet US building code requirements.

Do I need an attic insulation shield?
If your garage has an attic space above the ceiling, an attic insulation shield is required to keep insulation and combustibles away from the chimney. For garages with a flat roof and no attic, it is not needed.

What if the chimney extends more than 5 feet above the roof?
A Roof Brace Kit must be added to stabilize the chimney if it extends more than 5 feet above the roof surface.
