Base Support used at the bottom of an external chimney system. To support the weight of an external twin wall flue of more than 4mtr.
The load support should be placed just above the vertical connecting tee to prevent the weight of the chimney from resting on the tee, which is less structurally strong. The wings can be placed both up and down, but whenever possible it is recommended to place them up to work in tension and not in compression.
The maximum distance between the wall fixing brackets is 4 metres.
A chimney must not exceed 3 meters of overhang since the last fixing.
